Connect from your coding workspace. The CLI and IDE share the same local MCP configuration.

1. Run the command below in a terminal on the computer where Codex runs.
2. Start a new Codex session and check /mcp. In the desktop app, you can also add a Streamable HTTP server in Settings → MCP servers.

On your phone
In the current ChatGPT desktop app, open Settings → Connections → Control this Mac or PC, then pair your iOS or Android phone using the QR code. Use the same account and workspace and choose your computer in Remote. Keep it awake and online; calls run on that computer. Remote availability depends on your account and workspace.

Use a custom MCP app where developer mode is available for your account or workspace.

1. On ChatGPT web, enable Developer mode under Settings → Security and login. If unavailable, check your plan or workspace permissions; some accounts show it under Apps → Advanced settings.
2. Open Plugins and use + to create a developer-mode app. Enter the URL below and choose No Authentication. In a conversation, select Developer mode from + and choose MythNym.

On your phone
Direct custom-URL setup on mobile is not confirmed. OpenAI’s MCP-app help still says web-only; use the desktop Remote setup above for a documented iOS/Android path. This does not install a native phone connector.

Add a remote connector to your Claude account. No local server or API key is needed.

1. On Claude web or desktop, open Customize → Connectors → + → Add custom connector. Enter MythNym and the URL below.
2. Leave OAuth credentials empty. Add the connector, then enable it from the conversation’s + → Connectors menu. Team and Enterprise owners must first add it for the organization.

On your phone
Add the connector on web or desktop first, then open Claude on iOS or Android with the same account and enable it from the conversation’s Connectors controls. The connection runs through Claude’s cloud; your computer can be offline. Mobile connector installation is still in beta.

Make the naming tools available to Claude Code in your project.

1. Run this command, then start Claude Code in the same project.
2. Check /mcp for MythNym and ask Claude to list its generators.

On your phone
Run /remote-control in the configured Claude Code session, then open its session link or QR code in Claude on iOS or Android. Your subscription and workspace must support Remote Control. Keep the computer online; its MCP tools continue to run there.

Add a remote server to your project’s .cursor/mcp.json, or merge it into ~/.cursor/mcp.json for all projects.

1. Merge the entry below into your existing mcpServers object; keep your other servers.
2. Open Cursor’s MCP settings, enable MythNym, and check that its three tools appear.

On your phone
On iPhone or iPad, first add MythNym using the MCP menu at cursor.com/agents, then select it for a run in the mobile app. The agent and tools run off-device. Desktop mcp.json is a separate setup; the official guide lists Android as planned.

For OpenCode v1, merge this remote server into opencode.json or opencode.jsonc.

1. Add the configuration below alongside your existing settings.
2. Restart OpenCode and run opencode mcp list. OpenCode v2 uses a different configuration layout; follow the v2 instructions linked below for your installed version.

On your phone
Open a securely reachable OpenCode Web instance in your phone browser. Configure MythNym on the computer running opencode web; network access needs OPENCODE_SERVER_PASSWORD. See the OpenCode Web guide before exposing a host.

Connect from the machine running your OpenClaw Gateway. Current versions support native outbound MCP.

1. Run the commands below on the Gateway host. The default configuration lives in ~/.openclaw/openclaw.json under mcp.servers.
2. Confirm the probe lists MythNym’s tools. Normal coding and messaging profiles expose MCP tools; minimal or a tools.deny rule can hide them.

On your phone
After configuring the Gateway, use a paired OpenClaw companion app or connected chat channel. Keep the Gateway online. The Android companion does not host the Gateway or run MCP itself.

Configure the remote server on the machine running Hermes Agent.

1. Merge the YAML below into ~/.hermes/config.yaml, preserving your other servers.
2. Run hermes mcp test mythnym, then restart Hermes and enable the tools for your session or messaging channel.

On your phone
Use a connected messaging app to reach your running Hermes host. Advanced Android users can also run Hermes and MCP locally through Termux, a Tier 2, best-effort platform with background-process limits.

Open the agent panel’s MCP Servers menu, then Manage MCP Servers → View raw config.

1. Merge the server below into mcpServers. Antigravity uses serverUrl for remote servers.
2. Save and refresh the server list. Enable MythNym and inspect its available tools.

Connect MythNym on your Antigravity host, then follow Remote Control setup to open the session from your phone browser or PWA. Keep the host online; the phone controls the session rather than running its own MCP server.
